WR Luxor is a 1998 stallion, and son of the astounding WN Ultimate Star, a unanimous Triple Crown Champion- U.S. National Champion, Canadian National Champion and Scottsdale Champion, first under 11 separate judges, the only horse in the history of the breed to accomplish this. He is out of the Aristocrat mare Diamonds On Fire.
One of the first things one may notice when first looking at WR Luxor is his very typey, exotic head. He has a short head with some of the biggest, most beautiful and expressive, wide, low set eyes. His ears are small and tippy and sit ideally perched on top of an incredible poll. His head hinges nicely onto an upright, beautiful, long, arched neck and flows gracefully into a power house of a shoulder. His legs are straight with a long forearm and short cannon. His hooves are of perfect size and are round. His body is smooth; his hip strong with excellent hocks. His tail is like a flag in the wind.
To top all his great qualities, he has a very sweet and kind disposition which allows him to be stabled nose to nose with a gelding. His excellent and willing disposition allows him to excel in multiple riding disciplines, such as western pleasure, hunter pleasure, show hack, native costume, dressage and competitive trail.
WR Luxor has proven to be an excellent producer with his first foal crop! He shortened heads, gave refinement, improved the mares with consistency. Each foal displayed the same wonderful disposition that makes WR Luxor such a wonderful horse to be around. Incredible deer like movement is what makes WR Luxor so captivating and exciting to watch. This, he has shown, he passes to his foals as well.
